Half of all trailers fail safety checks says UK Govt.
Please make sure yours isn’t one of them!
Of more than 3 ,000 trailers checked in a recent survey conducted by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, 50% were non-compliant, and 41% were issued with an immediate prohibition (that is, defects so dangerous that repairs are required before further use of the trailer). The most common defects relate to lamps (36%), running gear (including tyres, 21%), and brakes (20%). Please make sure your trailer is safe and legal with regular servicing by a NTTA authorised Brian James Trailers dealer.
